Alaia is a very pretty dog. Her legs are long and skinny, making her stand tall. Along with her legs, Alaia looks skinny in general. She was born small and always stayed that way. Her fur is shorter than dogs her breed are typically born with but it is amazingly soft. The fur that covers her body is called "red merle." It consists of the colors white, brown, and silver. Despite the name, there isn't actually a red color on her. Her chest, muzzle, and tail tip are white. Her forehead has a small white stripe as well, extending above her ears. Her back, sides, legs, tail, and even face are mottled with silver and brown. The spot that stands out most is the dark brown on the left side of her face. Alaia's eyes are a shining stone grey and her nose is a mixture of pink and brown. Her ears are floppy and her tail is long and bushy.
Personality
Being a border collie, Alaia is quite hyperactive. She always wants to run around and play. You will rarely catch her being serious. Her favorite form of play is either tag or racing. Being super playful, she is also very friendly. The one won't hesitate to try and make friends with you, unless she knows of your reputation. Alaia may be sweet but she isn't forgetful. Once she meets you, she will always remember you, whether you made a good impression or not. Along with not being forgetful, Alaia is very smart. She knows a bad dog when she's one, and she'll make sure to stay away from them.
Alaia is also confident. She will hold herself high. She knows her self-worth and won't let anyone push her around. Proud of who she is, no matter what other dogs think, she has no tolerance for someone trying to put her down.
This dog has two bad habits. The first being her bred instinct. Alaia will often go around and try to herd other animals, no matter what they may be. And the second being just part of her personality. She will talk on and on, never stopping to catch a breath until she's said everything on her mind.
History
Alaia was born to two breeder dogs, both being purebred border collies. Her life was peaceful, just eating, pooping, and sleeping. That is, until she got old enough to move around. Once she could walk, there was no stopping her. Eventually, an old man came in, looking for a herding dog. Most other humans seemed to refer to him as "Mr. Silva." Alaia and he instantly had a bond. Mr. Silva took Alaia home and trained her to be the best herding dog there was. Most of her days were spent herding the sheep, dreaming about herding sheep, and daydreaming about herding sheep. Yes, herding sheep was all she could think about. It was something she just loved to do. In her free time, she would play with the old man or cuddle with him.
Finally, the inevitable day came for Mr. Silva to pass away. However, when he did, no one came for Alaia, or the sheep. Hunger drove the dog to explore beyond her home, into the town. She began to survive off of scraps from the trashcans she found or mice that she got lucky enough to catch. Really, Alaia had no experience as a street dog and didn't quite know what do. And now, she still just wanders aimlessly, not sure how her life will turn out.
